Raffle! Free Yarn

Raffle time

You know you want to knit me!I finished knitting my Lattice Lace Wrap a couple of weeks ago. I've been really curious to see how it would look in a different color of Alpaca Cloud (I used Midnight for mine.) So I'm having a raffle. If you are the lucky winner I will send you two skeins of Knitpicks Alpaca Cloud yarn in color Iris, enough prestrung beads to knit the wrap, a printed copy of the pattern in a plastic sheet protector and a beading needle (just in case.) The only thing I'm asking in return is a photo of the finished wrap.

If you would like to knit the Lattice Lace Wrap leave me a comment on this post. On Monday 6/13, I'll randomly draw a name from all commenters. (Don't forget to check back to see if you're the winner!)

This yarn is so soft and silky. It is a joy to work with. I've already purchased two skeins in the Autumn color and one skein each in Moss and Stream. I was thinking about knitting up the Lattice Lace Wrap in Autumn or I might try a different lace pattern with a triangular shape.

Good Luck!

Oooh, I'll be the first to enter! I like your design. I've never knitted with beads before, but I'm currently working on my first lace project (a seaman's scarf from Myrna Stahman's book) and it's turning out quite well. It's in Autumn Alpaca Cloud--a lovely yarn!

What a generous offer - of COURSE I'd love to knit it!

Hi. It's me, Lou.

I need to point out that I've strung the beads onto heavy cotton thread. They are not on the alpaca. It won't be difficult to string them onto the alpaca but that is the first step for the lucky winner!

Good Luck to all!

I'd love to win, because your stole is really beautiful and makes you look awesome:-)

I adore the color, I had been coveting it since seeing it in the knitpicks catalogue, and the wrap is gorgeous! If I win, I promise to send you a photo when I finish knitting, but I make no promises about how long it will take me to knit. Learning to do beaded knitting has been one of my goals this year.

Okay, sign me up! I never win these things, and with two two year olds running around, I probably shouldn't be attempting lace, but your pattern is so elegant w/out being too floral or frilly; I'd just love to try it out!
