With every new year comes the new year's resolutions. One of mine is to get back to blogging. So here goes...
I've been busy while I have been away from blogging but you wouldn't tell by the changes in my project list on the sidebar. Only one item has been crossed off since I last blogged. It was the "Secret Christmas Gift" and is a mitered, garter stitch, pocketed wrap that I knit for my stitching groups "Secret Santa" exchange. I finished it just in time for our holiday brunch at which we swapped gifts. I forgot to get a photo before I wrapped it up and gave it away. I can, however, show you what I received.

I received this from my friend, Donna. Donna learned how to knit as part of our group. When our group started meeting she was (and still is) a master cross stitcher. When she started knitting she took a liking to felting (and what's not to like about felting!) I love this bag. I love the colors, the textures and the size and shape. Looks like a new project bag to me. Now I just need to find a new project worthy of such a beautiful bag.
